An economic and private sector development expert with over 8 years of professional and managerial experience in design, implementation, and evaluation of economic growth projects, i.e. U.S. government international development programs, specializing in project management, trade and export promotion, women’s economic empowerment, entrepreneurship support, value chain analysis (i.e. gems and jewelry), and economic research. Strong coordination and leadership skills, having led initiatives and programs by working and engaging with key international organizations such as USAID, the World Bank, DFID, United Nations, GIZ, etc. Collaborative teamwork abilities, strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective managerial expertise, high level of self-motivation, and track record of delivering results under high pressure. Ability to speak and work with five languages including English, Dari, Pashto, Hindi, and Urdu. She is awarded of Chevening Scholarship in 2013/14, having an MSc in Finance and Economics from the University of Southampton and a bachelor's degree in economics from Kabul University. She is also an awardee of the Faculty Development Program at Purdue University by the U.S. Department of States.
